- How long will it take for me to be fully licensed?
If you complete the course in the minimum amount of time and don’t have any delays, you can be licensed in about three months.
- Where is the state exam given and can I chose my location?
The state exam is offered in Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego and Fresno. Yes, you do get to specify which of these locations you would like to take your test on your Salesperson Examination Application.
- What will the DRE charge me to be licensed?
The DRE will charge an examination fee of $25 and a license fee of $120. These fees are not paid all at once, they are paid as you move on to each individual step of the process.
